# Auterion SDK

Auterion SDK allows you to build onboard software for your AuterionOS-powered vehicles.

Auterion SDK is based on Robot Operating System (ROS 2). It enabled you to build advanced flight control capabilities for autonomous vehicles. Apps using Auterion SDK can directly interact with the drone, send various kinds of commands such as acceleration, velocity or position control, and receive telemetry data from the autopilot.
