# Flights

## Overview

<figure><img src="/files/GHaGKzacAoDF0cnB34he" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The flight list shows all flights recorded by your organization's vehicles. Use the controls at the top to sort and filter the list. Three preset views are available: **Operator**, **Developer**, and **Custom**. Access the flight list from the main menu, or from a specific vehicle's overview page.

### Log upload status

In the flight list two indicators may appear next to the flight start time:

<table data-view="cards"><thead><tr><th></th><th data-hidden data-card-cover data-type="image">Cover image</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Red dot:</strong> Log upload issue (timeout waiting for log data - about 10 minutes).</td><td data-object-fit="contain"><a href="/files/DzQhqimTjeJeMddeIfqv">/files/DzQhqimTjeJeMddeIfqv</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>Blue dot:</strong> Log upload in progress.</td><td data-object-fit="contain"><a href="/files/Rk4AIrJor2WMPcZRkbGF">/files/Rk4AIrJor2WMPcZRkbGF</a></td></tr><tr><td><strong>No dot:</strong> Log upload has completed.</td><td data-object-fit="contain"><a href="/files/MET34NmbTvfh9NKof3F8">/files/MET34NmbTvfh9NKof3F8</a></td></tr></tbody></table>

{% hint style="danger" %}
Log upload failures typically occur when the vehicle is powered off immediately after landing before the upload completes. Other causes include poor connectivity, inactive data plans, or hardware issues such as loose wiring.
{% endhint %}

### Flight Status

The *Flight Status* is used to highlight any problems detected by *flight analysis*. *Auterion Suite* reports the following status values:

* **Healthy:** Flight completed with no issues.
* **Warning:** Flight completed successfully, but a non-critical issue was detected.
* **Critical:** Flight terminated with a critical issue reported (it may have crashed).

{% hint style="info" %}
The **Fleet health** indicator on the [Dashboard](/vehicle-operation/auterion-suite-fleet-management/fleet-management/home.md) reports all non-Critical flights as "Healthy".
{% endhint %}

## Reviewing a flight

<figure><img src="/files/GXDZvonDS1QIqkTXHY6r" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Access a flight record from either of the following locations:

* The main **Flight List.**
* The **Flight List** within a vehicle's **Vehicle Overview.**

This page will show all of the data associated with a flight. Each flight record includes:

* High-level summary information about the flight
* Vehicle used for the flight
* Operator who controlled the vehicle
* Attached files, images, notes, and logs

### Flight Logs

<figure><img src="/files/W1EWJdKPihxHQhbBQ1Lh" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Flight logs are available for review on the **Logs tab** of the flight page.

The **Logs** tab displays a summary of all automated checks run against the flight log. For deeper analysis, click **Open Analytics**.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Flight logs will only be uploaded if you are using an Auterion powered vehicle.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

#### Flight Log Analytics

<figure><img src="/files/9jSQJNQFv67hNNsYmA99" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The analytics page provides a detailed breakdown of all data collected during a flight.

Each analyzed metric displays a colored icon in the corner of its panel:

* **Green:** Pass
* **Yellow:** Warning
* **Red:** Failure

Metrics without an icon have not been analyzed.

{% hint style="success" %}
The analytics toolset is updated regularly. To ask about a specific metric or request a new one, [contact](https://auterion.com/company/contact-us/).
{% endhint %}

#### Downloading Flight Logs

Download flight logs for compliance reporting, post-flight analysis, or integration with third-party tools. Logs can be downloaded from two locations:

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="Flight → View Log Analytics → ..." %}

<figure><img src="/files/0glCaQ4GZi7QiafnefVI" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="Flight → Logs → ..." %}

{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

Depending on your Suite subscription you can download following formats of your logs:
