Planning with Mission Control

Plan View is used to define vehicle plans that may include any (or all) of:
  • Missions: Autonomous missions, including ground and building surveys.
  • GeoFences: Virtual fences that define areas where the vehicle can safely move.
  • Rally Points: Alternative safe destinations when in Return mode.
Mission plans are used in Mission mode, and landings defined in missions may also be used for landing vehicles in Return mode.
Geofences and rally points apply in all flight modes.
The Plan Type selector sets the type of plan being edited, which causes Mission Control display the appropriate plan tools and highlight items for the selected type. The items for plan types that are not being edited are displayed semi-transparent on the map.
