# Software

Once the [Hardware Kit](/vehicle-operation/webtopus/hardware-kit.md) is assembled, the software, which is the user graphical interface for this system can be easily downloaded from either the [Suite Store](https://suite.auterion.com/store?productId=358), or via the [Releases page](https://github.com/Auterion/webtopus/releases) on the project's [Github repository](https://github.com/Auterion/webtopus).

### Linux

Webtopus maintains a Linux \_(debian based)\_ release available via both `.AppImage` format as well as a `.deb` package

Webtopus maintains a MacOS release *(signed and notarized)* available as a `.dmg` installation package

### Automatic Updates

Webtopus supports automatic updates in-place, meaning once a new version is releases, you will be notified in-app

If you choose to update to the new version, the app will update and restart in-place, without you having to manually download and install bundles
