Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://docs.auterion.com/vehicle-operation/webtopus/hardware-kit.md). # Hardware Kit Auterion provides a companion Hardware Kit to support extending connection to multiple vehicles at one The Hardware Kit consists of: * 1 x 10-Port USB 3.0 Hub * 4 x Power Adapter *(NA/JP, ANZ, UK, EU)* * 10 x Polarity matched USB-A 3.0 to USB-C 3.1 cable *(150 cm)* ### Device count support A single kit can support up to 10 vehicles from a laptop of PC. For special applications, this can be expanding up to 28 vehicles by using leafing. Larger numbers of connected vehicles are possible, through the use of specialized computer hardware, with availability of multiple USB 3.0 Root Controllers ### Assembly Assembling the Webtopus is fairly strait-forward, the operator has to connect the provided Polarity Matched USB cables to the ports of the USB hub (ports `1` to `10`), while connecting the uplink USB cable to port `0` .

The Polarity Matched cables then connect individually to each vehicle, with the labeled side *(Marked `UP`)* pointing up, while the uplink USB cable gets connected to your machine's USB Root Controller For leisure of operation, generally, the USB Root Controller is the first available USB port on the left side of the machine, counting from the top towards the bottom
