# Dashboard

Overview of fleet health, operations, and performance metrics in the Dashboard.

## Overview

The Dashboard provides an overview of fleet health and operations for a selected time period. All graphs reflect the **current time period**; percentage change indicators compare it to the **previous time period** of equal length. The `All Time` filter does not include percentage change.

### Definitions used in the Dashboard

* A **healthy flight** is one that did not report a Critical [flight status](/vehicle-operation/auterion-suite-fleet-management/fleet-management/flights.md#flight-status).
* A **compliant flight** is one where the pilot completed the [Preflight Checklist](/vehicle-operation/auterion-mission-control/ui-breakdown/vehicle-overview-menu/preflight-checklist.md).
* An **active vehicle** is one that was *armed* in the selected time period.

{% hint style="info" %}
The **Most Common Failures** graph reflects the most frequent reasons flights were marked as Critical. Use it to identify recurring failure patterns.
{% endhint %}

## Metrics Explained

### Fleet Health <a href="#fleet-health" id="fleet-health"></a>

Given a time range (default 3 months), fleet health is the percentage of flights that did not report a Critical flight status.

%↑ or %↓ is percentage change in the fleet health compared to a prior time window of the same size. The previous window may be smaller than the current window if data does not exist that far back in time.

### Number of Flights/Time/Distance <a href="#number-of-flights" id="number-of-flights"></a>

Cumulative values for a given time range are compared to the first value in the prior time range. These numbers include all flights, both success and failure.

%↑ or %↓ is calculated using the difference between first value in the prior time series and the current cumulative value.

### Active Vehicles

Active Vehicles shows the ratio of vehicles used in the selected time range to the total number of non-archived vehicles.

{% hint style="info" %}
If archived vehicles are flown, the active vehicle percentage may be greater than 100%.
